Privacy
Ruuun collects no data. Your profile and your health data stay on your iPhone.
In short
- No account, no server: the app makes no network requests.
- Apple Health is only read, never modified.
- No ads, no analytics, no trackers.
- Deleting the app erases everything it stored.
Who publishes Ruuun
Ruuun is published by Guillaume Bailleul, as an individual.
What the app stores
Your profile: starting weight, target weight, height and the start date of the goal, plus the last level shown by the machine. This information is stored only on your iPhone, in the app’s storage. It is sent to no one, not even the publisher.
Apple Health
With your permission, Ruuun reads from Apple Health:
- your workouts (type, date, distance, active energy);
- your most recent weight;
- your height.
This data is read when the app opens, to compute what you have left. It is not copied off your iPhone, not shared, and not used for advertising. Ruuun writes nothing to Apple Health.
You can withdraw the permission at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Ruuun.
This website
This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any host, Vercel processes technical logs (IP address, browser, requested page) to serve pages and keep the service secure. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
Your rights
The publisher holds no data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct or erase on their side. On your iPhone you stay in control: edit your profile in the app, withdraw access to Apple Health in Settings, or delete the app to erase everything.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also lets you lodge a complaint with your country’s data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes
If the app changes how it handles data, this page will be updated before the relevant version is released.
